We've spent our careers building software used at international scale. Town Circle is the next chapter — tools for the independent businesses that keep neighborhoods alive, built around how those businesses actually work, not how a venture deck thinks they should.

Walk down any main street in any American town in 2026. Count the empty storefronts. Count the chains. Then go look at the same street's Google reviews, its Instagram tags, the number of people you can see staring at their phones while standing in line.

The math is grim and it's familiar. The internet, on paper, was supposed to make local commerce stronger. In practice, it routed a generation of attention through a small number of platforms that don't live in your neighborhood, don't care if your butcher closes, and charge you to talk to the customers you already have.

For the last 25 years, the internet has been pulling commerce out of communities and into the warehouses, the ad networks, and the algorithmic feeds. Every honest local business owner can tell you the story.

We started Town Circle because we don't think it has to be that way.

The same technology that pulled commerce out of community can put it back. A phone in everyone's pocket. A direct line between a business and the people who already love it. A way to send a Tuesday afternoon offer without buying ads against your own customers. A simple way to say: we're here, we're open, and we thought you'd want to know.

Local-first, not local-themed.

We’re onboarding merchants by neighborhood, not by funnel. Slower on the way up, but it means the platform is actually useful in the places it’s live.

Quiet by default.

No push notifications, no growth-hacking dark patterns, no nag prompts. Your customers signed up to hear from you — not from us.

Honest about what we are.

We’re a small team with strong opinions. If we don’t think a feature serves the merchant or their members, we won’t ship it just because it juices a metric.
